Guitar Lessons

Musically Inclined Guitar Studio offers Acoustic & Electric guitar lessons for Beginners to Intermediate players ages 8 and up. My teaching approach is more “hands on” and helping you to understand concepts for you to apply to your playing. I will help you to train your musical ear rather than read sheet music. If you’re more interested in learning from method books and reading musical notation then my lessons may not be the right fit for you. If you’re interested however in learning chords to be able to play songs and finding your own unique guitar learning path that includes just enough music theory to support you as a guitarist then I can certainly help you. Lessons are tailored to you the student and accommodate the playing styles and musical genres you want to learn. Whether you are brand new to the instrument or have some playing experience under your belt I will meet you where you’re at and provide the guidance needed to help you to become a better guitar player.

Beginner Players

As a beginner we must start with the very basics and essentials of guitar so we have a solid foundation to build off of. It’s important to create good playing habits right from the get go. This takes patience on your part but before long you will be playing your very first ever guitar chord, I promise.

Intermediate Players

First off congratulations on getting this far. You might be feeling stuck where you’re at and wondering where to go from here? How does chord embellishments, learning songs from start to finish, improvisation techniques for lead playing, ear training, discovering different playing styles, and learning how to access more of the fretboard sound? Oh and also removing those pesky bad playing habits..
